DAYTON, Ohio — Anthony Battaglia scored two goals and assisted on another as the Dayton Demonz rallied past the Watertown Privateers, 5-3 on Friday night in a Federal Hockey League game at Hara Arena.

Trailing 3-1, the Demonz scored four unanswered goals to prevail as Battaglia scored 12 minutes, 24 seconds into the third period to tie the game and Ahmed Mafouz tallied the deciding goal at 19:17, with Battaglia adding an unassisted, empty-net goal. Goalie Matthew Kinsella made 25 saves to earn the win for Dayton (12-6).

Beni Bersiha totaled a goal and two assists for the Privateers and Jeff Dill and Branden Parkhouse each scored a goal. Craig Cole contributed a pair of assists for Watertown (5-12).

The Privateers, who slipped to 2-6 on the road, went 0-for-5 on the power play.

Watertown plays at Danville at 7:05 tonight and returns to host Danbury at 7:35 Sunday night.
