The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Steven F. Spano, 31, of 123 Clinton St., Gouverneur, was charged by state police Friday afternoon. Police said Mr. Spano was stopped on Hailesboro Street in Gouverneur for allegedly driving with an expired inspection sticker.

Mr. Spano’s blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent, police said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication.

n Dean S. Barney, 38, of 52 N. Main St., Massena, was charged by Massena village police early Saturday. Police said they stopped Mr. Barney on Andrews Street for an improper signal. His BAC was not available.
