Watertown man accused of breaking into residence, harassing occupant


State police on Monday arrested a Watertown man and accused him of breaking into a Calcium residence and throwing a TV at a woman inside.

Tyler J. Wilkinson, 22, of 505 Washington St., was arrested at 12:25 a.m. and charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

According to police, Mr. Wilkinson forced his way into the residence. The victim, whom police did not identify, noticed that a window was broken when she returned home. Police said a fight took place and, during the exchange, Mr. Wilkinson threw her TV at her, damaging the TV. Police did not say if there were injuries.

Mr. Wilkinson was arraigned in town of Rutland Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $3,000 cash bail. He will appear in town of LeRay Court to answer the charges.
