MALONE - The Potsdam Central varsity girls basketball team dropped a 75-33 decision to Franklin Academy in the lone NAC Central Division game played on Monday.

Sarah Vivlamore netted a team-high 12 points in her first game since returning from an injury suffered in the final match of volleyball season. Kathryn Blanchard added six points followed by Bre Sapp with five and Emily Berger with four while Kayla Phillips, Courtney DiTullio and Jade Garfield each finished with two.

Megan O’Connor led all scorers with 20 points as the Lady Huskies ran out to a 39-16 halftime lead. Rachel Lamica added 18 points followed by McDonald with 10.

In interdivisional girls basketball action on Monday, Lisbon outscored Colton-Pierrepont 67-35 and Chateaugay knocked off Hammond 51-31 while a pair of non-league contests saw Gouverneur beat South Lewis 34-16 and Hermon-DeKalb doubled Watertown 64-32.

Lisbon 67, C-P 35: In Lisbon, Morgan Doyle generated a game-high 30 points in the losing effort. Courtney Marsh and Eve Whalen added two points each followed by Sarah Borgacz with one.

Jackie Sovie anchored a balanced Lisbon offense with 11 points. Beth Crowley netted 13 followed by Maddie Vine and Katie Sovie with 10 points apiece.

Chateaugay 51, Hammond 31: At the SUNY Canton fieldhouse, Hammond scored the first 10 points of the game before the Lady Bulldogs steadily worked their way to a 21-19 halftime lead then turned the game in their favor with a 20-6 third-quarter run.

Hannah Cook led the winning offense with 17 points followed by Abby Barnes with 15 and Danielle Charland with 10.

For Hammond, Courtney Bova netted nine points followed by Mikayla Horton.
