SANDY CREEK Two people were accused of manufacturing methamphetamine while two young children were in the residence, according to state police.
William C. McDowell, 42, and Christina M. Peach, 35, both of 6 White Pines Drive, were arrested in connection with a Dec. 23 raid of the home. The two were each charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree manufacturing of methamphetamine, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
The arrests stem from a four-month investigation by the state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, as well as state police in Pulaski. Oswego County Child Protective Services also is involved in the investigation.
Mr. McDowell and Ms. Peach were arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Oswego County jail, Oswego, without bail. Details on the two children are not yet available.
