Cold temperatures close Samaritan’s Keep Home, Dry Hill Friday

Multiple businesses and organizations have shut their doors for the day as temperatures remain below zero degrees Fahrenheit Friday.

Samaritan Medical Center said that its Samaritan Keep Home was closed for the day, and that no transportation services are available.

Dry Hill Ski Area also said it is closed for the day. The ski area said it would reopen with regular hours during the weekend.

A flight scheduled to depart the Watertown International Airport for Chicago at 7:20 a.m. was canceled Friday morning because of the weather, according to airport staff.

A 5 p.m. arrival from Chicago was slated to land as normal, staff said.
