MASSENA - A 27-2 first quarter start lifted Beekmantown to a 75-18 win over Massena in non-league girls basketball action on Saturday.

Shannon Ryan scored 21 points and Kendra Goung scored 17 leading four players in double figures for Beekmantown. Emily Anderson scored 13 and Grace Kelly added 11.

Sam Villnave paced Massena with five points.

In girls hockey action Beekmantown downed Massena 3-1. Katie McCuaig scored the lone Massena goal and Kallie Villemaire scored twice for the Eagles. Maddie Dllabough made 22 saves for Massena.
