OBGC teams wins at home


Returning to action after the holiday break the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club resumed Franklin CYO Basketball League action with a 56-29 victory over St. John Bosco at the Tom Luckie Sr. Court on Sunday.

Ryan Petell led a balanced offense as he scored 18 points and converted inside off a series of nice assists from Rudy Binion who finished with 13 points as the OBGC squad stayed tied for first place.

Anthony Butterfield followed with 10 points from putbacks on the offensive boards. Dominic Molinari tallied four points, Nate Tomford buried a three-pointer and Christian Tomford added a field goal.

John Anderson supplied a strong game in the paint scoring 16 points for St. John Bosco which received its other scoring from Austin Gonia (6), Mike Deshane (3), Mike LaBarge (2) and Anderson Beamon (2).

The OBGC Bs recorded a 58-29 victory led by sharp-shooting Nate Tomford who netted four three-pointers in the first half.

Zade Lesperance, Aidan Shea, Jed McRoberts and Dylan LaFleur all scored six points followed by Max Ahrens and Zach Ashley with four and Jason Deschane and Zach Worden with two.
