Shelly Jo Watson, 53, of 165 Winthrop St., Apt. 2, was arrested 4:16 a.m. Monday after city police said she struck a man in an alleged domestic incident.
According to police, Ms. Watson struck Steven E. Murrah Sr. with her fist, causing redness in his left arm and chest at their shared Watertown residence, violating an order of protection.
She previously was arrested Dec. 23 after city police accused her of threatening to kill Mr. Murrah, again violating an order of protection. For that alleged incident, she was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
In the most recent alleged incident, Ms. Watson was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment.
She was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $2,000 cash bail pending arraignment in City Court.
