Clarkson (13-7-2 overall, 6-2 conference) will play its first ECAC Hockey games in over a month this weekend as it hosts defending national champion Yale (8-3-4, 3-2-3) and Brown (6-6-3, 3-4-1) in games at Cheel Arena this weekend.
Clarkson's last conference game was a 4-3 victory over St. Lawrence University in Appleton Arena on Dec. 7.
If you go by points, Clarkson is in third place in the ECAC Hockey standings with 12 points. But the Golden Knights rank second in win percentage (.750) to Union College (.818).
Clarkson, Yale, Brown and St. Lawrence have all played only eight conference games. Quinnipiac, on the other hand, has already played 13 conference games.
This week's interviews feature coach Casey Jones, senior captain Ben Sexton, junior Joe Zarbo, who missed two of the last three games due to illness, and sophomore Kevin Tansey, who missed all of last season while recovering from an assault in the previous summer. Tansey came back to the program last year at this time but only for non-contact drills in practices.
