ADAMS An Adams woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after state police said she made more than $3,000 worth of unauthorized purchases and bank withdrawals with a neighbors debit card.
Leona R. Gregory, 42, of 21C Wardwell St., was arrested at the state police barracks in Pamelia and charged with third-degree grand larceny. She was accused of using the debit card from Nov. 7 through Dec. 8.
According to police, the stolen debit card belonged to Jennifer Pamlin, also of Adams. Information on the specific items or services allegedly purchased was not available.
Ms. Gregory was arraigned in Village Court and released on her own recognizance.
