LISBON - On Jan. 10, a FROGS (Fun Reading of Good Stories) assembly was held at Lisbon Central School.
The following students were honored for becoming members of the FROGS reading program: Alyssa Mills, Riley Burwell, Nicholas Kerr, Averee Bouchey, Abbaghail Compo, Justin Dean, Ty Jacobs, Mason Ziemba, Leah Warren, Aaron Morrow, Gabrielle Taylor, Mathew Dean, Benjamin LaRock, David Pirie, Christina Bice, Kamdyn Johnson, Guy Moore, Noah Martin, Griffin Walker, Megan Perry, Luc LaFlair, Sara Denny, Cassidy Hargrave, and Joshua Morrow.
Allison Bell, Brielle Ashley, Silas Estes, Rowen McCarthy, Tanner Fonda, and Cooper Rutherford became Super Kids with 25 points.
Esther McKeever, Connor Claxton, Connor Bell, Rylie Flack, Rowan Rishe, Liam McCarthy, Justin Adams, Ivey Davison, Karter Jordan, Alexa McKee, Elizabeth Mitchell, Kallie Wood, Hailee Farrand, Kristian Perry, and Nathan Spooner were honored for achieving the next point level with 50 points.
Being recognized at the 75 point level were Connor Flack, Krysten Dean, Karter Jordan, Harrison Wert, Alford Lawton, and Cameron Shippee.
Receiving the 100 point gift basket were Connor Flack, Julia Rishe, Riley Baxter, Pyperanne Bender, Gabrielle Kroeger, Abbagail Flack, and Ian Kennedy.
Gabrielle Kroeger read to the 150 point mark. Vanessa Dawson and Michael Bolesh made it to 200 points. Vanessa Dawson and Amanda Walker reached the 250 point level.
Jacob Skeels became a 400 point STAR reader.
Students who were recognized for their achievements received prizes that were generously donated by the LCS Library Club and the FROGS Club.
