The Clayton Opera House will present “An Evening with Clint Black” at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

The concert is designed to be an intimate evening of acoustic music to give fans a more personal experience of Mr. Black and his country music. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Mr. Black’s 1989 debut album, “Killin’ Time,” went triple platinum, establishing him as a breakthrough musician and songwriter and one of country music’s brightest stars. Since then, Mr. Black, 51, has written nearly two dozen No. 1 hits and almost as many top five and top 10 hits.

Mr. Black’s hits include “A Better Man,” “Nobody’s Home,” “Walking Away,” “Loving Blind” and “A Good Run of Bad Luck.”

New and renewing patrons may purchase tickets starting today for what opera house officials expect to be a sold-out show. To become a patron, call the box office at 686-2200.

Tickets are $79, $59 and $49 and may be purchased online at www.claytonoperahouse.com or by calling the box office.
