LOWVILLE — Mark F. Boucher, 61, of 5281 Clinton St., was charged at 5:07 p.m. Sunday by village police with driving while intoxicated.

Mr. Boucher was initially stopped for an uninspected motor vehicle. During the course of the vehicle stop, police said they detected an odor of alcohol from the vehicle.

Mr. Boucher’s blood alcohol content was registered at 0.10 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

He was issued appearance tickets for DWI and uninspected vehicle returnable to Village Court.
