POTSDAM — A two-goal effort from Jordan Robert helped the Massena hockey team to a 5-2 victory over Potsdam in a Northern Athletic Conference Division I game Wednesday night at the Pine Street Arena.

Wyatt Wilmshurst, Patrick Manning and Evan Kassian also produced goals for the Red Raiders (9-4 overall, 7-0 division).

Corson Green and Josh Locey scored for Potsdam (4-7, 3-2).

CANTON 3, SALMON RIVER 3 (OT)

Josh Huiatt scored with 29 seconds left in the third period to give Canton (4-5-1, 2-1-1) a tie with Salmon River in a Division I game in Fort Covington.

Cody Moore scored the first goal for Canton but then Salmon River (5-5-2, 3-2-1) scored three goals in 48 seconds to take a 3-1 lead.

Tye Terrance scored with 33 seconds left in the first period and Kyle Lewis added another goal seven seconds later. Terrance then scored just 21 seconds into the second period. Tanner Sanderson also scored for Canton.

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 6, ISLANDERS 1

Zeb Brown and Kaden Pickering each scored two goals to lead the Flyers (7-1, 5-1) past the Islanders in a Division II game in Norfolk.

Coby Munson and Ty Cotter also scored for Norwood-Norfolk.

Kyle Delaney scored the only goal for the Islanders (2-7, 1-6).

ST. LAWRENCE 7, MALONE 0

Kody Kocsis, Lukas Arquiett and Hadyn St. Hilaire each scored two goals to lead the Larries past the Huskies (4-6-1, 3-5-1) in a Division II game in Brasher Falls.

Joey DiMatteo also scored for the Larries (6-5, 4-3).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

HEUVELTON 73, LISBON 35

Alexis Weidner scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and added six steals and five assists as the Bulldogs (8-1, 5-1) won a West Division game in Heuvelton.

Paige McCormick tallied 16 points and Logan Tallman scored 12 for the Bulldogs.

Beth Crowley paced Lisbon (5-6, 2-4) with nine points.

CANTON 61, GOUVERNEUR 35

Tori Daley scored 16 points as Canton (9-2, 8-1) won a Central Division game played at SUNY Canton.

Rachel Sanderson added 10 points for the Golden Bears. Haley Easton and Alisha Way both scored eight to lead Gouverneur (4-8, 1-7).

CHATEAUGAY 35, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 26

Abby Barnes scored 13 points to help the Bulldogs defeat the Panthers (5-4, 5-3) in an East Division game in Chateaugay.

Caitlin Miller snagged 10 rebounds for Chateaugay (7-2, 6-1) and Danielle Charland added nine points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

ST. REGIS FALLS 65, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 26

Corey LaBounty produced 21 points as St. Regis Falls cruised past Parishville-Hopkinton (2-7, 1-7) in an East Division game in Parishville.

Brandon Votra added 17 for the Saints (13-0, 9-0) and Louis Goodrow scored 13 points.

WRESTLING

GOUVERNEUR 47, MASSENA 34

Jacob Beckwith won the 220-pound match by pin to help lead Gouverneur (8-2, 5-0) in Massena.

Massena (7-1, 3-1) was led by pins from Nolan Terrance (285), Nathan Marshall (113), Hunter Perrine (170) and Zach Ayen (145).

OFA 49, Canton 18

Zach Roberts (106 pounds), Josh Wangler (132), Bailey Phelps (152) and Alex Cole (182) won by pin to help the Blue Devils (5-4, 2-2) defeat the Golden Bears in Ogdensburg.

Canton fell to 1-3.
