HAILESBORO The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has sent a reminder to Hampshire Paper Co. that it is required to gather recreation use data at its Emeryville hydropower project and file the information by April 1.
The company was last required to file similar information in 2009, but FERC said there is no record the paperwork was submitted.
You are reminded that failure to file is considered a non-compliance issue, an FERC outdoor recreation planner wrote the company. While no further compliance action will be taken in this instance, you are expected to file in 2015. Failure to file or documentation of exempted status will be considered a violation of your license.
