Natural Bridge woman accused of taking money, possessing painkillers

State police charged a Natural Bridge woman with petit larceny and multiple drug offenses after she allegedly took money from a Pamelia residence.

Police said Justa L. Tupper, 30, of 44280 Lime St., took money from a residence on the 25000 block of Route 37, where she was staying with an unidentified person.

Initially charged by police with petit larceny at 10 p.m. Friday, she was charged at 12:12 a.m. Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a narcotic after she was found with 34 oxycodone and two hydrocodone pills with no prescription, police said.

She was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $5,000 bail pending an appearance in Brownville Town Court.
