BENCH WARRANT - TUPPER LAKE - Tupper Lake-based state police picked up Kristin R. Miller, 28, of Norwood on a bench warrant following a traffic stop at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday on Route 30 in the town of Tupper Lake. She is being held at the Franklin County Jail.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Logan P. Smiddy, 17, of Fort Covington with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for a stop sign violation following an investigation into a property damage accident reported at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday on Chateaugay Street at Salmon Street in the town of Fort Covington. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Smiddy and April Lynn Maloney, 47, of Constable.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Wednesday. Among those:

■ Dahl R. McCormick, 74, of Hannawa Falls at 5:40 p.m. Thursday on state Route 68, near James Road, in the town of Canton.

■ Dustin David Taylor, 17, of Brushton Road at 2:51 p.m. Thursday on John Hill Road, near County Route 8, in the town of Moira.
