NORFOLK - Norwood-Norfolk relayed a fast start into a 7-0 NAC Division II win over Tupper Lake on Wednesday.
Austin Cousineau converted off an assist from Kaden Pickering. Jeff Mott made it 2-0 at the 3:00 mark assisted by Tristan Harvey and Brandin Cousineau. Pickering netted the third N-N goal with 2:41 left in the opening frame off an assist from Brandon Cousineau. Pickering finished with two goals and two assists. Austin Cousineau tallied two goals and one helper. Brandin Cousineau generated four assists. Tanner Uppstrom and Bryce Dillon produced the other goals. Zeb Brown fashioned a pair of assists while Brandon Palmer and Isaac Barkley each logged solo helpers.
Brandon Richards made 10 saves over the first two frames. Eighth-grader Grant VanBuren then made his high school hockey debut to start the third and handled the eight shots.
