CARTHAGE- Darlene A. Rogers, 67, 230 North James St., died Wednesday afternoon, January 22, 2014 at the Hospice House in Watertown under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Born on January 3, 1947 in Carthage to Fred Eugene& Lillian Grey Noyes. She was a caregiver and a homemaker. She married Ronald G. Rogers on May 9th, 1965. Mr. Rogers died on June 1, 1992.

She is survived by several children; Ronald & Rita Rogers, Carthage, Nancy & Jerry Young, NYC, James Rogers & Marie Trombley, West Carthage, Carthage, Leonard & Dena Rogers, Carthage and Dawn & Lonnie Labouf, Carthage. Also surviving are her siblings; Chuck Noyes, Carthage, David Noyes Sr., Carthage and Sue Malone, Louisiana, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, BINGO and most of all she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is predeceased by several siblings, Barbara, Fred Jr., Mary, Robert, and James Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th, at 2:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Funeral Home for two hours prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in the spring in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.
