MASSENA — State police on Thursday charged Gail A. Goodenough, 62, of 38 Bridges Ave., with aggravated driving while intoxicated and several other counts, including drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Troopers said they responded about 1 a.m. to a report of a possible intoxicated driver on Route 37. They said that that after they stopped Ms. Goodenough for unsafe backing and failure to keep right, she was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than twice the state’s 0.08 percent legal threshold for intoxication.Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

She was released on appearance tickets for Town Court.
