The National Weather Services winter weather advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m., as about 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to fall today, and another 1 to 2 inches this evening. A wind chill advisory is also in effect from midnight to noon Sunday. Wind chill values are expected to be as low as 20 to 25 below.
The advisory warns of difficult travel at times due to snow and blowing snow.
Bitterly cold wind chills are also expected early next week, as well as lake effect snow Tuesday through Wednesday.
