An Adams man was charged early Sunday morning with multiple charges stemming from a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Arsenal Street.

Benjamin C. Wisner Jr., 21, of 46 N. Park St., Apt. 2, Adams, was stopped at 2:17 a.m. after city police allegedly observed a license plate display violation. Police later discovered that the vehicle’s registration was suspended and Mr. Wisner allegedly did not possess a valid license.

He was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration, both misdemeanors, as well as no/expired insurance and a plate display violation, both traffic violations.

He was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $100 police bail, pending arraignment in City Court.
