Elizabeth Richard, 21, of 329 McLelland St., was arrested early Saturday on multiple charges stemming from a traffic stop on the 500 block of Franklin Street.
She was driving a 2010 Chrysler southeast on Franklin Street at 2:31 a.m. when she was stopped by police after she was reportedly seen failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to keep right. She was subsequently charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, as well as the traffic citations.
Her blood alcohol content was not available. A BAC of 0.08 percent constitutes DWI according to state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
Ms. Richard was previously convicted of driving while ability impaired in November 2013, leading to suspension of her driving privileges.
She was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $500 police bail pending arraignment in City Court.
Also charged with DWI and related offenses:
■ State police also charged Resa L. Davis, 37, Adams Center, early Saturday morning on Cady Road in the town of Watertown with failure to use designated lane and moving from a lane unsafely.
Police did not release her BAC.
■ Devin M. Chambers, 25, of 13 Green Meadows Road, Winthrop, was charged by state police early Saturday morning.
Police said Mr. Chambers was reported to be in the driveway at 119 Skinnerville Road, Stockholm, but had no reason to be there because he does not know the residents.
Mr. Chamberss blood alcohol content was 0.17 percent.
