Newton Falls man charged with DWI

NEWTON FALLS — State police on Sunday charged Warren E. Bullock, 54, of 21 Front St., with driving while intoxicated with a previous felony conviction in 10 years and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies. He additionally was cited with several traffic tickets.

Police said that at 11:05 a.m. on County Route 60 in the town of Clifton, Mr. Bullock was seen operating his vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. Police said they noticed an odor of alcohol in the vehicle and gave him a field sobriety test, which they said he failed. They said a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent, matching the state’s threshold for intoxicated driving. Police said this is Mr. Bullock’s third DWI.

He told police his license was suspended.
