POTSDAM — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested three people Friday following an ongoing investigation into larcenies that occurred at Walmart stores in Potsdam, Massena and Malone, in which more than $40,000 worth of electronic devices were stolen.

Travynn L. Ippolito, 28, Brandy D. Young, 35, and Nina M. Duprey, 35, all of Plattsburgh, were each charged with two counts of conspiracy, a misdemeanor, and two counts of third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Deputies said the three conspired and stole more than $24,000 in electronics on Jan. 23 and Jan. 27. The three also stole merchandise from the Malone and Massena stores, according to officials, and those charges are still pending.

Deputies said the investigation revealed the suspects also may have stolen from Walmarts in Plattsburgh and Ticonderoga.

Deputies said the three were located in the Plattsburgh area and several police agencies assisted the sheriff’s office with the investigation, including Massena and Plattsburgh police departments, state police, Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, Tacoma, Wash., Police Department and Auburn Police Department.

All three suspects were arraigned by Potsdam Town Justice James Mason and are being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton.

Mr. Ippolito and Ms. Young are being held on $15,000 bail and Ms. Duprey is being held on $10,000 bail.

Officials said further charges are pending.
