BENCH WARRANT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police picked up Brandy L. Burkum, 33, of 88 East Orvis St., Massena, on a bench warrant alleging she had failed to appear as directed on second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges pending in Norfolk Town Court. The warrant had been signed by Norfolk Town Justice George C. Grubee on June 7, 2012 after the probation department filing a uniform court report alleging Burkum had violated her release under probation supervision by leaving the county without permission and failed to report to her probation officer as directed. Probation officials said at the time they had learned through an investigation that Burkum had moved to the Miami, Fla., area.

She was arraigned on the warrant by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash.



BENCH WARRANT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police picked up Aaron P. Plourde, 43, of 88 East Orvis St., Massena, on a bench warrant alleging he had failed to appear as directed on second-degree harassment, obstruction of governmental administration and endangering the welfare of a child charges pending in Norfolk Town Court. The warrant had been signed by Norfolk Town Justice George C. Grubee on June 7, 2012 after the probation department filed a uniform court report alleging Plourde had violated his release under probation supervision by leaving the county without permission and failing to report to his probation officer as directed. Probation officials said at the time they had learned through an investigation that Plourde had moved to the Miami, Fla., area.

He was arraigned on the warrant by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000 cash.



PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA — Massena-based state police charged Tanika L. McGregor, 18, of 32 Highland Road, Massena, with petit larceny Saturday evening.

Police said McGregor allegedly took Xbox video games from her brother’s bedroom at her mother’s residence, 32 Highland Road, and sold them to Game Stop in the village of Massena.

McGregor is scheduled to appear in Massena Town Court.



STOLEN PROPERTY - MASSENA — Massena-based state police charged Kathleen M. Morgan, 29, of 2 Elizabeth St., Massena, was charged by state police with criminal possession of stolen property Saturday afternoon.

Troopers said Morgan was found to be in possession of jewelry that was reported stolen from a residence in Louisville at 11 a.m. Saturday. The arrest was made at 88 Cougar Point, Louisville.

Policeallege Morgan allegedly sold the jewelry to a jewelry store in the village of Massena for $150.

Morgan is scheduled to appear in Massena Village Court.



AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Massena-based state police charged Christian L. Collette, 21, of Yaleville, Conn., with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 1:35 a.m. Sunday on Main Street in the village of Potsdam. He was also ticketed for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights. Collette reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent. A DWI charge is elevated to the more serious offense of aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.



ONE INJURED - MOIRA - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 4:07 p.m. Saturday on Route 11, near County Route 7, in the town of Moira. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Rosado M. Samantha, 22, of Clearwater, Fla., and Kenneth A. Webster, 60, of Oneida, Wisc.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Brett M. Bouchard, 17, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was turned over to state police by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers after he was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana during an inspection at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - POTSDAM - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents Saturday. Among those:

■ Erin K. Oakes, 38, of Hogansburg at 7:21 p.m. on County Route 4, near Route 37, in the town of Westville.

■ Elizabeth J. Curtis, 22, of Malone at 3:10 p.m. on state Route 95, near County Route 9, in the town of Bombay.

■ Joshua D. Brosell, 39, of Potsdam at 4:32 p.m. on County Route 59 at the South Canton Road in the town of Potsdam.
