ADAMS A Binghamton man was arrested Sunday after a traffic stop on Interstate 81 in the town of Adams.
Christopher P. Medina, 39, was stopped on a speeding charge, during which state troopers allegedly discovered an open alcoholic container in his vehicle and found that he was intoxicated.
His blood alcohol content was 0.13 percent,according to state police. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication.
He was arrested at 6:45 p.m. and charged with DWI and the other traffic offenses. He will appear in Town Court to answer the charges.
