Texting when driving can end in tragedy

Texting, texting, texting.

What the heck is wrong with people?

I’ve seen soldiers who made it through war only to come home and risk their lives texting while driving.

Mothers going to work, texting at stop lights, going through the square and all over town.

For some reason, they all don’t think we can see them doing it.

Come on back and forth driving, putting a long space between the car in front of them and heads angled down.

I saw one man who looked like he was having a fit because his head went up and down five times within three seconds.

You can see them in their own mirrors.

I don’t get it.

These same people would never take a gun out and kill anyone, but yet they would drive without looking at the road.

But it’s the same as if they killed someone; dead is dead.

It’s a shame people just can’t wait a few minutes to turn the speaker on their phone, put it on their lap and talk without taking their eyes off the road.

I just think that when I see them texting when they are driving is do they realize they could kill someone I know, my family or me or their family members?

It’s not worth it just to see a few words in a box!
