City police on Wednesday arrested Peggy S. Charlton, 33, of 29 Emerson Place, on a charge that she made unreasonable noise Wednesday afternoon.
Police said she yelled profanities and racial slurs at her ex-boyfriend, Ken W. Lewis, 902 Academy St., and his girlfriend, Jean M. Rockwood, same address, at 4:43 p.m. According to police, Ms. Charltons actions caught the attention of several bystanders who became alarmed.
She was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building. She was released on $100 bail with an appearance ticket for City Court.
