HAMDEN, Conn. — Quinnipiac survived a second-period rally by the Clarkson University men’s hockey team and wound up producing a 6-3 victory over the Golden Knights in an ECAC Hockey game Friday night at the TD Banknorth Sports Center.

The Bobcats (20-4-5 overall, 10-2-3 conference) started quick, scoring two goals in the first 1 minute, 14 seconds. Connor Jones scored just 10 seconds into the game and Matthew Peca made it 2-0 with a shot that beat Clarkson goalie Ville Runola at the 1:14 mark.

Clarkson (16-11-2, 9-6) received goals from Jarrett Burton, Allan McPherson and James de Haas.
