The National Weather Service has issued a lake-effect snow warning for Jefferson County through 1 a.m. Sunday.
Accumulations of 7 to 10 inches are expected today, with the greatest amounts falling in the area from Watertown to Deferiet. Another 3 to 5 inches is forecast for tonight.
Visibility will be as low as one-quarter of a mile at times, the service warns.
