Fort Drum man charged with aggravated DWI

Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday pulled over Bradley T. Agee, 21, of Middleton, Tenn., on a charge of having an obstructed license plate and discovered he was intoxicated.

According to his arrest report, Mr. Agee was driving back to the Fort Drum Barracks on Lafave Road after having “too many” drinks at a local bar. After being transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building at around 5:30 p.m., a breath analysis test determined his BAC to be 0.20 percent. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication and a BAC of 0.18 percent or more is charged as aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties.

He was processed and released to military custody and will appear in LeRay Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
