A city man was arrested in the 200 block of State Street Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly held a knife to a womans throat and threatened to kill her.
William B.M. OBrien, 26, of 140 High St., Apt. 11, allegedly held a red handled, multi-blade knife to the throat of Breana K. Pfendler, same address, at around 4 p.m. that day during a domestic incident at their residence. According to police, Mr. OBrien told her that if she left him, he would kill her.
Additionally, he was charged with intentionally damaging a wooden bathroom door belonging to Ms. Pfendler. City police did not provide a monetary value for that damage.
He was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, and transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held on $500 cash bail pending arraignment in City Court.
