MASSENA Ryan Thomas scored four goals in his final home game at Massena, leading the Red Raiders hockey team to an 8-1 victory over Canton during a Northern Athletic Conference Division I game Tuesday night.
Wyatt Wilmshurst added two goals for the Red Raiders (14-5-1 overall, 12-0 division). Dylan Stone and J.P. Reagan also scored for Massena.
Matt Mende scored for the Golden Bears (9-7-2, 7-2-2).

Taylor Piercey scored 21 points to lead No. 10 Morristown past No. 7 Colton-Pierrepont (5-13) in a Section 10 Class D first-round game in Colton.
Morristown (4-10) will face No. 2 Chateaugay in a quarterfinal at 6:45 p.m. Friday at SUNY Cantons Dana Hall.
Jessica Geddes added 17 points for the Green Rockets. Morgan Doyle led the Colts with 28 points.

Jackie Sovie produced 16 points to send the No. 6 Golden Knights past the No. 11 Saints (3-13) in a Class D first-round game in Lisbon.
Lisbon (10-8) will meet No. 3 Hermon-DeKalb in a quarterfinal at 5 p.m. Friday at SUNY Cantons Dana Hall.
Katie Sovie scored 12 points and Maddie Vine tossed in 10 for Lisbon. Brianna Work led St. Regis Falls with 12 points.

Kate Smiths 15 points helped the No. 8 Cougars defeat the No. 9 Panthers (4-11) in a Class D first-round game in Russell.

Courtney Bova paced the No. 5 Red Devils with 12 points in a Class D first-round win over the No. 12 Pirates (2-13) in Hammond.
Hammond (12-6) will meet No. 4 Madrid-Waddington in a quarterfinal at 5 p.m. Friday at SUNY Cantons new gymnasium. Mikayla Horton scored 11 points and Cassi Whalen added 10 for Hammond.
SOUTH JEFFERSON 64,
Austin Stevens scored a game-high 17 points to go with 11 rebounds and six assists, sending the Spartans to a nonleague victory in their regular season finale at Adams.
Marissa Garland scored 11 points and Marisa Clark added 10 for South Jefferson (18-0), which will enter the Section 3 Class B playoffs unbeaten for the fifth straight year. Pairings will be revealed today.
LOWVILLE 50, COPENHAGEN 33
Kyle Malik scored 28 points as the Red Raiders continued their winning ways with a nonleague victory over the Golden Knights in Lowville.
Cameron Jackson and Dalton Rombaugh each added 10 points for Lowville (6-12).
Antonio Figueroa paced Copenhagen (7-10) with 11 points.
GOUVERNEUR 60, OFA 18
The Wildcats captured 12 of 15 weight classes, five by pinfall, to finish undefeated in the regular season with a Northern Athletic Conference victory at Gouverneur.
Aaron McEathron (195 pounds), Joey Love (152), Aaron Bush (138), Derick Stowell (120) and Michael Labow (106) recorded pins for Gouverneur (11-2, 8-0).
Bailey Phelps (160) and Tanner LaPienne (113) won by pin for Ogdensburg Free Academy (7-6, 4-4).
SANDY CREEK 3, ONONDAGA 2
Sandy Creek won its last three games in convincing fashion to cap off the come-from-behind upset victory over top-seeded Onondaga, 18-25, 18-25, 25-13, 25-11, 25-11, in the Section 3 Class C-2 semifinals at Lowville.
The Comets improved to 15-3 and will play No. 3 Beaver River in the C-2 championship Thursday at Chittenango.
Sandy Creek won two of three against Beaver River this year but the Beavers captured the most recent matchup, 3-2, in the Frontier League C/D Division semifinals on Feb. 1.
Shania Darling delivered 15 digs and 10 service points, and came up huge, in the final three games, according to Sandy Creek coach Dorianne Hathway.
Grace Wallace and Kylie Hanni provided 17 kills apiece for Sandy Creek. Michaela Martin added 15 service points and 11 digs while her twin sister, Kylee, accounted for 30 assists and 10 service points.
Onondaga entered with a 19-1 record.
BEAVER RIVER 3, MORRISVILLE-EATON 0
Melissa Hunt racked up 14 kills and 25 digs to help the No. 3 Beavers upset the No. 2 Warriors, 25-14, 26-24, 25-22, during the other Class C-2 semifinal at Lowville.
Madison Compton contributed 14 kills and 22 digs, while Anna Bush hit nine kills, and Mariah Abel and Keanna Proulx handed out 23 and 16 assists, respectively. Malori Mattimore provided 10 service points and five kills, and Ariel Ortlieb served 11 points for Beaver River (15-3).
Morrisville-Eaton is 15-4.
SOUTH LEWIS 3, MOUNT MARKHAM 0
Marissa Brown generated six kills as the second-seeded Falcons defeated the No. 3 Mustangs, 25-14, 25-15, 25-20, during a Section 3 Class C-1 semifinal at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown.
South Lewis advances to play No. 5 Herkimer (14-4) in the final on Thursday at Chittenango.
Jayne Strigle made 15 digs, and Chloe Steinbrickner distributed 14 assists. Alicia Andrews finished with 14 service points for South Lewis (17-3).
Mt. Markham is 14-4.
