DWI - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Michael J. Markes, 37, of Massena with a felony count of aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to use designated lane after responding to s property damage accident report at 9:57 p.m. Saturday from the town of Brasher. Troopers said the arrest was made at 10:41 p.m. near 615 County Route 53.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Benjamin J. Purvis, 19, of Norwood with unlawful possession of marijuana Saturday.



FELONY DWI - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Troy L. Pearson, 35, of Brushton with a felony count of driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle wiht inadequate stop lamps, failure to keep right, making an unsafe turn and failure to norify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change at 7:50 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop in the town of Malone.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents Saturday around the region. Among those:

■ Dorinda J. Miller, 59, of Norfolk at 4:04 p.m. on state Route 37, near County Route 31A, in the town of Waddington.

■ Rachelle L. Bisaillon, 20, of Cornwall, Ont., and Shawna L. Cook, 51, of Hogansburg at 11:02 a.m. on Route 37, near County Route 8, in the town of Malone.

■ Eric S. Hebert, 41, of Moira and Kristine M. Pike, 38, of Nicholville at 11:59 a.m. on Best Road, near Route 95, in the town of Moira.
