COPENHAGEN — Rebecca S. Hoyt, 42, of 6767 River Road, town of Watson, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies with aggravated driving while intoxicated after getting stuck in a snowbank off Route 12, just north of Number Three Road, in the town of Denmark.

Deputies said they initially charged Ms. Hoyt with common law DWI, based on their observations, and she later had a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, just above the state threshold for aggravated DWI of 0.18 percent.

No injuries were reported.
