Watertown woman charged with damaging car

GLEN PARK — Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Watertown woman early Tuesday after she allegedly damaged a Great Bend woman’s vehicle.

Brooke E. Yeoman, 17, of 697 Mill St., is accused of damaging a red Saturn belonging to Chasity L. Collins, of 32988 Route 3, Great Bend.

According to deputies, both Ms. Yeoman and Ms. Collins were at 668 Main St., Glen Park. When she left, Ms. Collins, whom deputies said was involved in an incident at the residence that night, noticed that her vehicle was damaged.

Ms. Yeoman allegedly damaged the driver’s side mirror and gas tank door of the car.

Sheriff’s deputies said they were led to 655 Emerson St. in Watertown, where Ms. Yeoman admitted to damaging the vehicle.

She was charged at 4:11 a.m. with fourth-degree criminal mischief. When she was placed into the back seat of the patrol car, she allegedly became uncooperative and began kicking at the windows. After becoming “somewhat cooperative,” police said, she was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building. She was arraigned in Glen Park Village Court and remanded back to the jail on $250 cash bail.
