Reversing its only loss of the season, the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club took over sole possession of first place in the Franklin CYO Basketball lead with an 83-63 victory over North Star.

Ryan Petell led the winners with 27 points and 12 rebounds, while Rudy Binion scored 22 points and handed off 10 assists. Spencer Mayette scored 14, while Dominic Molinari and Jordan Miller each added 10. North Star was led by Nick Lamica with 19, including four treys, Jared Webb with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Alex Shackett scored 12 points.

In other games Maranatha downed Bangor 42-34 and Chateaugay bested St. John Bosco 66-51.

On Sunday, February 16, Ogdensburg picked up a forfeit win over Langdon’s. The two teams will play on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at St, Joseph’s Academy in Malone.

The Ogdensburg B’s posted a 39-21 win over St. John Bosco. The winners were led by Zade Lesperance with 14 followed by Dylan Lafleur with 10. Others scoring for the Burg were Zachary Worden and Chris Tomford with five apiece, followed by Jed McRoberts with three and Aidan Shea with two. St. John Bosco was led by Kelsey Musgrove with eight.
