Doris McGrath Capra, RN, 59, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away February 14, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Doris was born April 24, 1954 in Lowville, NY and had been a resident of Hobe Sound for 28 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed. In her work, she was a registered nurse that touched the lives of so many in the areas of labor/delivery and women’s breast health.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew Capra, and his wife, Jacqueline, and Joseph Capra, and his wife, Sue; and three grandchildren, Michael, Joy, and Jasmine; three sisters, Cecelia (Mike) Gracey, Elizabeth(Randy)McGrath-Scott, Joan (Bob) Richards; and two brothers, Patrick (Jean) McGrath and Mark (Beverly) McGrath. Predeceased by her parents Maynard and Rosemary McGrath and brother Burnard McGrath.

A service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville, NY at 11a.m. on Friday February 28th.
