Kathryn Makuch Trickey, 76, Alexandria Bay, New York, passed away on February 21, 2014 atthe home of John and Sharon Cullen, under the care of Hospice.The calling hours wilt be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 24, 2014 with the funeralimmediately following, at Costello Funeral Home in Alexandria Bay. Reverend Jeff Mclllrath,Reformed Church of the Thousandlsies will be officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at

the Redwood Cemetery.

Kathryn was the daughter of Jacob and Paiza (Repak) Makuch and was born on November21, 1937 in Montague, NY She graduated from Lowville Academy in 1955 and WatertownSchool of Commerce in 1957.

Kathryn was married to Gerald Lewis Trickey on January 8, 1958. They were married 51years. Together they owned and operated a family dairy farm on County Route 192, Redwood,NY, until they retired in 2006. After retiring they moved to Alexandria Bay, where they resided

until November of 2009.

Kathryn is survived by 4 sons, Dwayne G. (Deborah) Trickey, Stafford, VA, Randall S. (Annie)Trickey, Dickinson, NY, Stephen J. (Karen) Trickey, Norwich, NY, Kevin T. (Janet) Trickey,Redwood, NY, 3 daughters, Terryl L. (Ross) Mooney Jr, Columbus, Ohio, Sharon L. (John)Cullen, Alexandria Bay, NY, Lisa J. Trickey, Watertown, NY and 21 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, 4 brothers Peter Makuch, Denmark, NY, William Makuch, Calcium, NY JacobMakuch, Evans Mills, NY, Joseph Makuch, Watertown, NY and three sisters, RosieSweredoski, Garden Grove, California, Helen Lehman, Elkhart, Indiana, Alice Barnum,Watertown, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Kathryn is preceded by her beloved husband Gerald L., an infant son, Brian L., 5 brothers,John, Theodore, Mitchell, Stephen, Tony, and 5sisters, Mary, Eva, Anna, Julia and Martha.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, Watertown, NY,Alzheimer’s Association Watertown, NY, Redwood Fire Department, or Alexandria Bay Fire
