Passing to the next generation the bills for todays wants has never been honorable.
Still, we hear excuses about why the government debt needs to exceed $17 trillion. This shamefulness is because too many in positions of decisions walk in the immaturity of self-righteousness, not in wisdom.
Wisdom is the ability to correctly use the knowledge one possesses. For example, it is one thing to reel people in with inspiring speech. It is something else to actually make an honest effort to follow through on those words.
Thriving societies demonstrate that which is so rare today in leaders of both major parties; it is almost extinct. That being the amazing power of unadorned language connected with honesty and openness.
Living on the West Coast for 10 years showed me that the left leadership will not hesitate to label their opposition with what they themselves are guilty of. This appears to be a consequence of their obstinacy continually getting in the way of their common sense.
It is also true, leaders from all parties who have held public office for several years digress to where their own social environment appears to become more important to them than doing what is illustrious.
Even so, do not become disquieted. New leaders of more honorable character are coming when people create time to observe and not just listen to fish bait.
