CANTON — St. Lawrence University’s Emily D’Alessandro won reserve high point rider honors Sunday as the Saints riding team closed out the regular season with a victory at the Elsa Gunnison Appleton Riding Hall.

St. Lawrence won for the sixth time in eight shows, scoring 36 points. Cazenovia was second with 32.

The Saints, the two-time definding champion in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, will host the regional championship show March 22.

Jesse Fortier won open equitation over fences, Liz Daponte won in novice over fences, D’Alessandro won open equitation on the flat, and Jessie Lewis won in intermediate on the flat.

The Saints have already qualified as a team for the zone championship as high point team.

St. Lawrence finished second to Cazenovia on Saturday.
