A Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force raid on a William Street residence Monday turned up crack cocaine and heroin and resulted in the arrests of three city residents.
Christina M. Sampson, 27, and Arturo Medina, 40, both of 132 William St., Apt. 3, and Levan Goodman Jr., 35, of 203 N. Orchard St., Apt. 3, were each charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
According to police, 26 knotted wraps of crack cocaine were discovered at the residence. Additionally, police said, Mr. Medina possessed a small glassine envelope of heroin and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The three were arraigned Monday in City Court. After arraignment, Ms. Sampson was sent back to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $10,000 bail, Mr. Medina on $20,000 bail and Mr. Goodman without bail. According to police records, Mr. Goodman is on parole.
