Ogdensburg man jailed after alleged domestic dispute

OGDENSBURG — Bryan A. Pribble, 25, of 5754 County Route 6, was charged by state police with first-degree criminal contempt, third-degree menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing, possession of a hypodermic instrument, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia following a domestic incident Thursday evening.

Police said Mr. Pribble was at his sister’s residence in Oswegatchie when a verbal argument between them became physical.

Police said Mr. Pribble violated a family court order of protection when he allegedly held his sister against the wall and started choking her and threatening her in front of six children, some of whom belonged to him and some to her.

Police said the sister’s boyfriend intervened, which led to a fight between him and Mr. Pribble.

Police said they found Mr. Pribble in possession of a hypodermic needle and a spoon used during a drug-cooking process.

Mr. Pribble is being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $2,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Oswegatchie Town Court.
