SEXUAL ABUSE - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Aaron L. Maslin, 26, of Chase Mills with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal contempt, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief - preventing an emergency phone call after responding to a violation of an order of protection complaint received at 2:34 p.m. Friday from the town of Norfolk. The arrest was made approximately an hour later on Remington Avenue in Norfolk. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Jerrell J. Howard, 18, of Ilion and Dae-Ja T. Williams, 18, of Cheektowaga with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 8:25 p.m. Friday at the Potsdam Walmart. Williams was additionally charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property approximately an hour later when he was being processed at the state police station in Canton.
