LOWVILLE Are you having difficulty navigating the terrible twos? Or threes? Or fours?
On Monday afternoons over the next couple of months, Northern Regional Center for Independent Living will offer a six-session course titled Teaching Parents of Young Children at its 7632 N. State St. office.
Sessions, intended for parents of children up to 5 years of age, will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 17, 24 and 31 and April 14.
Parent educator Cathie J. Wooledge will guide participants through a series of 12 topics two per session on all aspects of parenting young children. Topics to be covered include discipline, ages and stages, communication, learning right from wrong, self-image, answering tough questions, protecting your children and yourself from abuse and sibling rivalry.
