A Watertown man has been indicted on allegations that he created a grave risk of death to another man by stabbing him in October.

Frank L. Cooley Jr., 25, whose last known address was of 373 Flower Ave. E., faces counts of second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges were contained in a grand jury indictment handed up Tuesday in Jefferson County Court.

It is alleged that on Oct. 9 at Franklin Street and Flower Avenue East, Mr. Cooley stabbed Michael J. Campany, Watertown, in the chest with a knife, causing a cut to Mr. Campany’s torso that required medical treatment.
