RUSSELL State police on Thursday charged John D. Holly, 60, of Harrisville with driving while intoxicated.
Troopers said they stopped Mr. Holly at 9:02 p.m. on County Route 24 in the town of Russell, after he was weaving into the opposite lane. Police said a breath test showed Mr. Holly had a blood alcohol content of 0.16 percent. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication.
He also was charged with crossing hazard markings. He was issued appearance tickets for Russell Town Court.
