Motorists charged with DWI and related offenses

The following motorists were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Makayla E. Kelley, 19, of Harpursville, was charged by Potsdam village police early Friday morning.

Police said Ms. Kelley was stopped on Pierrepont Avenue in the village for driving without headlights on.

Ms. Kelley’s blood alcohol content was 0.12. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication.

n Robert K. Law, 26, of 127 Grove St., Gouverneur, was charged by state police early Saturday morning.

Police said Mr. Law was pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign on Sterling Street in Gouverneur.

His BAC was not available.

n Candy L. Brozzo, 34, of 16567 County Route 59, Dexter, was charged by Watertown police at 2:32 a.m. Saturday on Arsenal Street and additionally charged with having a defective tail light. Her BAC was 0.11 percent, police said.

n Amber N. Nix, 26, of 9116 General Pike Loop, Apt. C, Fort Drum, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 2:50 a.m. March 5 on Route 283 in the town of Pamelia.

She also was ticketed with unlicensed operation, using a cellphone while driving, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving across hazard markings.

Her BAC was 0.13 percent, deputies said.

n Terrah K. Frederick, 26, 13023 Fuller Road, Adams Center, was charged by state police at 4:10 a.m. Saturday on Route 283 in the town of LeRay. Her BAC was not available.
